FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Is the auditorium in a hotel, like last year?
No. This year's event is modeled after our "Great Smokies Praisefest" event in Tennessee. The Metro Center is a 1750–seat state–of–the–art
auditorium with comfortable theater seating. No more "straight–back" hotel chairs!
2. What about parking?
There's plenty of FREE parking at the Metro Center. No more $10 – $20 parking fees!
3. How close are the hotels to the auditorium?
We have contracted with several nearby hotels, including a Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Best Western, among
others. The hotels are within two miles of the Metro Center, and surrounded by lots of great restaurants and shopping! You can make special room requests when making your reservations for the event, but we can't guarantee specific requests, as the hotels are assigned as reservations are
received, and once they're full, they're full.
4. If I can't come for the entire event, can I get seats for just one session?
If there are any seats left, we will make "individual session" seating available, two weeks prior to the event. Our advice is... don't wait. We expect
this event to sell-out, and we wouldn't want you to miss it.
5. How long will the programs last?
Normally, each session lasts from 2 – 3 hours.
6. What about bringing a group from my Church?
This year's Praisefest Texas is designed to be especially "Church Group Friendly". That's why we're starting on Thursday evening and ending after the Saturday morning session. It gives our guests plenty of time to be back in their "home Church" on Sunday morning. This would be the perfect year to bring your Pastor, Sunday School Class, or other Church Group. 7. I have other friends who are coming to Praisefest Texas, but we're not coming together. I would love for our seats to be close together. What can we do?
The best way to get seating close to your friends is to send all your reservation forms in one envelope.
8. Are there lots of stairs to climb to get into the Metro Center?
No. There are NO STAIRS to climb between the parking lot and your seats.
9. Where is the Metro Center?
The Metro Center is located at 1501 West Pioneer Pkwy in Arlington, Texas, right next door to Fielder Road Baptist Church. If you're coming from Interstate 20, there are only two turns to make. Metro Center is two miles from I-20, our host hotels, great restaurants, and plenty of shopping! You will receive easy-to-follow directions with your reservation confirmation.
10. If I want to come into town a day early, or stay an extra day after Praisefest Texas, can I get the special Praisefest Texas hotel rates for extra nights?
